Galatians 5:22,23 : But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
This verse is very important. Let me tell you this, if you find someone with a lot of these traits, hold on and don’t let them go! I think today we Christians find it hard to be all of these things. Yes, no one is perfect, but if you look at these traits, they’re not too hard to do. Love: it’s like all the fruits kinda put together; when you love someone you are not going to do something that is going to hurt them, you are going to be kind and gentle and have self control. As brothers and sisters in Christ, loving one another is one of our calls. Lift each other up, praying for and loving one another. Joy: be happy that you have a life. God has given you things to be joyful for so let others see that joy. Peace: if God throws you a curve ball, be at peace. Take time to learn from what God has put into your life at that time. Perfect peace comes when we are in step with God’s plan, when we are following His will and knowing and trusting that what He is doing in our life is what is good for us. Patience (one I need more of): God will give you opportunity to have patience, but you have to be looking for it. Kindness: this can be a tricky one. Sometimes being kind to someone we don't get along with or someone we think doesn't deserve it can be really hard, but you can break it down to a simple from: just make sure that you say things that will build up rather then tear down. Goodness: you are an ambassador of Christ, therefore be good. Let your actions be good and others will see it and follow. Faithfulness: this one can be hard at times because when it feels like God is no where to be found, it’s hard to stay grounded in faith. But it’s not He who is gone, it’s us just not understanding that He is near, helping us to grow. Gentleness: being able to take a step back from ourselves and help others, or do things that people might see as below us. Maybe hang out with the kid that people say is weird. Self control: this one is something you and God have to work on. We as people are more likely than not to do what we want to do, it’s in our nature. But with God, we can gain and learn self control.
Now I know I have made this seem rather stupid and simple, but it’s the little steps that will get us to a place where we begin to see these fruits growing in us and others will see them as well.
We can all be what God created us to be, and with these we can show others the love of Christ without speaking a word.

Hey, it's Samantha Osborne. I know you're going to like this (which is why I don't want to say it :P) but you sound like a pastor in this blog. However, I disagree with your position on kindness. Kindness is inside, not outside. Just because you're nice to someone you dislike doesn't make you kind to them. Inside, you're still thinking poorly about these people. Kindness is finding good things about people you probably disagree with on a regular basis, and concentrating on their redeeming qualities, rather than just putting on a friendly face when you're around them.
